You can define multiple filter conditions to limit the results, or the numbers of batteries that will be displayed when you execute a custom report of filter a report results. Filter Conditions allow you to specify the name of a battery field, an operator such as "Equal To", "Not Equal To" and a value. All batteries that meet the specified filter condition will appear in the results when you complete the filter. The Filter Condition Control contains the following controls:
| Control | Description |
| Battery Field Listbox | Contains a list of all battery field names that you can use in the filter condition. Select a single name from the list |
| Operator Listbox | Contains the operators that you can apply to the battery field. Note that the contents of this listbox will change depending on the type of battery field that has been selected in the Battery Field listbox. For character fields, the listbox will include operators such as "Contains" and "Begins With" among others. For Current Radio ID and Last Known Radio ID fields, the "Begins With" operator in Custom Report Generation Tool refers to greater than or equals to the number in the textbox whereas in Filter window (Funnel icon) it refers to the first few digits in the textbox; on the other hands, the "Ends With" operator in Custom Report Generation Tool refers to lesser than or equals to the number in the textbox whereas in Filter window (Funnel icon) it refers to the last few digits in the textbox. For date fields the operators include "After" and "Before". Numeric fields and value specific fields also have their own list of valid operators |
| Available Fields Listbox | This listbox contains the names of the battery fields that you can use as columns of your report |
| Value Control | The Value control is where you specify the value that the filter column must match to be included in the report results. The value control has a different type depending on the type of the field that you selected in the Battery Field listbox. For example, the value control is a calendar control for date fields and a textbox for character fields |
